“Mystical Lady Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired bracelet. It is 3.5" W by 4.5" H.

I have been dreaming about making a bracelet and finally I came across this elegant mystical lady that was worthy for RBJewel's first bracelet. She is made to be worn lengthwise on your arm.

The Mystical Lady part of this piece is made of brass. The copper stone on her forehead is from a vintage earring, the large gold chain is from a necklace that had lost its purpose and the clasp and links are from pieces and parts of deconstructed jewels.

"Mystical Lady Pretty" does have what I call "love worn scars". She is not trying to be perfect. I love that...don't you?

"Having Faith Pretty"

“Having Faith Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace. This piece is 10 ½ inches in length with a toggle clasp.

Creating a necklace is what I do to relax. While I was having a self reflecting day and asking for guidance “Having Faith Pretty” is what happened. Each RBJewels piece cannot help but be a reflection of my heart at the time of creation. It often feels as thou they create themselves if I listen carefully.

“Having Faith Pretty” has several vintage pieces; a clear stone bracelet, a rhinestone earring, a couple of crosses. Also used to create this piece are three deconstructed fashion chain necklaces, a herringbone chain bracelet and several crosses that were once earrings. There are also two small gold crosses and one has a diamond chip.
There are 10 crosses in all in “Having Faith Pretty”.

RBJewels, my jewelry design company, is an extension of my background as the owner and décor consultant of “As Nature Intended interiors”, located in Brevard County Florida. With over 25 years of experience in this field, I have become one of the areas most sought after décor consultants. Design is about color and balance whether you are designing a room or jewelry. I have brought this expertise to my jewelry designs, RBJewels.

“It’s not too perfect!” That is a philosophy I live by and the conception behind RBJewels. RBJewels uses vintage and fashion jewelry that have lost their purpose to create a new piece of art. Sometimes this means I have deconstructed a bracelet, necklace or earrings then combined them based on color and balance to create a new piece. I have always loved vintage jewelry, and I seem to love it even more when they are not perfect and have what I call “love worn scars”; meaning you can see the wear from being worn and loved for years by a special someone. When I look at these pieces I want to save them from destruction and give each piece a new life with a new love.

In today’s fashion advertising, young girls and woman are portrayed as being perfect in their airbrushed, photo-shopped way. There are voices now bringing this subject to light and pushing for a change: to recognize that beauty does not equal “perfection”. RBJewels represents this voice with my repurposed creations of art.

My hope and prayer is that any women that wears an RBJewels piece will “Feel Pretty” and can relate to the lack of perfection but the beauty of combining several non perfect pieces together in one piece of art.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind, unique, just like every woman.

“Boho-Chic Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace. This piece is 25” in length with an unusually placed front CC toggle clasp.

A Bohemian-Chic look is achieved by piling on lots of interesting layers of styles, textures and colors. You want to have that artfully thrown together appearance and not look so perfectly tidy. This look is for the girl who likes going against the rules because the toggle clasp is right in front instead of at the base of the neck where most people think it should be. Going against the rules is exactly what happened when I was creating “Boho-Chic Pretty”.

The vintage pieces in “Boho-Chic Pretty” are the three broaches, the stunning copper colored stone bracelet and one multi color stone earring.

I also used a deconstructed fashion chain necklace and a fashion bracelet that had lost its purpose until now.

I think this is my favorite piece so far. I know I say that every time I finish a new piece. Of course my very favorite part of ‘Cobalt Pretty” is the vintage parts. The star of the show is the cobalt flower design that was once a vintage bracelet that had lost its purpose.

I also used a deconstructed chain necklace and a chocker necklace that had gone out of fashion; until it was repurposed and became part of this little pretty.

“Enchanted Butterfly Pretty”

“Enchanted Butterfly Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace. This piece is 11” in length with a toggle clasp.

When I was creating this piece I had a very special lady in mind. She loves pink, sparkles & pearls. When I think of her I am inspired by how beautiful she is inside and out. Just like the butterfly emerging from a cocoon I have watched her over the years grow as a woman, a friend, a daughter, a wife, a mother and an entrepreneur. Somehow she makes it all seem easy and sparkles while doing so.

The vintage piece on this necklace is the opal and rhinestone broach that sits atop of the silver rhinestone belt buckle. The pearls have a pink color to them. The silver leaf chain design above the butterfly was once a bracelet.

I pray whom ever wears this piece will always feel “Enchanted Butterfly Pretty”.

This little pretty was inspired by our upcoming Valentines Day Holiday. In honor of this love day, I have decided to donate it to one of my favorite charities, candlelighters of Brevard. On February 13th, at their annual “Have a Heart Extravaganza” event, “Sweet Heart Pretty” will be auctioned off. The milky white beads came from a deconstructed vintage necklace. The centerpiece rhinestone bow was at one time a vintage broach.Of course the three dangling hearts are hence the name "Sweet Heart Pretty”.I love that the rhinestone heart in the middle just floats, sometimes it is on its side and sometimes it is upside down….just like our love for each other, ever changing and not perfect. “Ancient Mehndi Pretty”

“Ancient Mehndi Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace.This piece is 10 1/2” in length with a toggle clasp.

This simple elegant piece gets its name because it reminded me of the ancient Indian body art called “Mehndi” or sometimes referred to as “Henna”.Usually I think the vintage parts are the best parts but not on this piece. I love the orange bead & dark metal necklace used on the left side and it is not true vintage. If you look close you can see some verdigris adding to the “ancient” look. The vintage parts on “Ancient Mehndi Pretty” are the deconstructed pinkish/orange bead & wire necklace used on the right hand side. The unexpected color combination of pink and orange is part of the uniqueness of this item…some how it works.

I AM NOT PERFECT ARE YOU?

The conception of RBJewels came from a philosophy I live by, “its not perfect or too matchy poo”. I have applied this concept to my décor business “As Nature Intended interiors” for years and now to my jewelry designs. As you know by now if you have been following RBJewels I use vintage and fashion jewelry that have lost there purpose to create a new piece of art. I have always loved vintage jewelry and I seem to love it even more when they are not perfect and have what I call “love worn scars”. Maybe they are missing a stone or the clasp is broken or you can see the wear from being worn and loved for years by a special someone. When I look at these pieces I want to save them from destruction and give each piece a new life with a new love.
In today’s fashion advertising women/young girls are portrayed to be “perfect” in there airbrushed, photo shopped way. I am also aware that there are several voices now bringing this subject to light and pushing for a change in our culture to recognize that beauty does not equal “perfection”. “Simply Leaving Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace.
This piece is 13” in length with not just one but two toggle clasp, just because I could.

The best part of “Simply Leaving Pretty,” is the vintage rhinestones broach at the base of the neck and the two vintage earrings that daggle from it. I designed this piece to be worn with your hair in an up do to show off the back. Sometimes a girl just needs something simple. Because this piece is so simple in style I would also love to wear it in combination with some of our longer pieces for the times when you need just a little something extra. This piece gets its name by being a very simple set of pearls from the front but they will defiantly notice you when you leave the room.

"Crystal Pretty"

“Crystal Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace.
This piece is 30” in length when worn long and 20” in length when worn short. You are getting two completely different necklaces all in one.

The best parts of “Crystal Pretty”, is that it is mostly made with vintage parts. Usually our pieces have one or two vintage parts but this one is very special because it was created from almost all vintage parts. It is created from a vintage faux crystal necklace, a frosted and gold color beaded necklace and two vintage pearl flower broaches. Each of these pieces alone were not that exciting and not being appreciated until now….I just love that!

Shelf talkers are short one liner’s that explain your product in a retail display. I was prompted to do this for our YAPA display by “Miss Yummy” from Yummy Suds. Of course I had to jewel ours up and I love how they turned out. Thank you “Miss Yummy”, great idea.

"Teardrop Pretty"

Meet our newest “PRETTY” Statement necklace, “Teardrop Pretty”.
This piece is 12” in length and has a toggle clasp.

The best parts of “Teardrop Pretty” is that it is mostly made with vintage parts. Usually our pieces have one or two vintage parts but this one is very special and has the most. It is created from a vintage bracelet, two vintage necklaces and a sterling flower broach. The broach is marked sterling but it looks very copper in color and has some gorgeous cobalt blue stones. “Teardrop Pretty” gets its name from the vintage crystal teardrop that dangles from the flower broach.

Wear this piece and you will definitely feel happy tears “Teardrop Pretty.”

"Silver Drama Pretty"

“Silver Drama Pretty” is a one of a kind, fashion statement, vintage-inspired necklace. It is approximately 13" in length and has a toggle clasp. This piece is not heavy…very comfortable to wear.

The best part of "Silver Drama Pretty" is a vintage rhinestone belt buckle that had broken in half, is missing some stones and lost its purpose, till now… ;). Is it just me or do you, too, love the missing stones...not so perfect...just like me.

“Spiritually Pretty”

This is the first RBJewels piece that was custom created using the client's own special jewelry pieces. She had some jewelry that was sentimental to her but was not wearing it for one reason or another. She asked us to use her pieces to create a custom RBJewels look for her.

So of course I loved the challenge and now I pray this piece will always make this special lady feel spiritually pretty.
